The Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) is the largest coalition of public water agencies in the country.  ACWA's 438 public agency members are collectively responsible for 90 percent of the water delivered in California.

The Family Farm Alliance is a grassroots, non-profit organization of family farmers, irrigation districts and those in related industries concerned about federal water policy issues as they relate to western irrigation agriculture.  The Alliance has members in 16 Western states:  Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

The Idaho Water Users Association (IUWA) was organized to promote, aid and assist the development, control, conservation, preservation and utilization of the water resources of the State of Idaho and to cooperate with similar organizations in other states.

The National Urban Agriculture Council (NUAC) is a national association established to meet the challenge of providing sound, scientifically based information on water resource management and conservation practices for the urban landscape as well as strategies that enhance the environment and work to shape future national water policy.

The National Water Resources Association (NWRA) is a a nonprofit federation of state organizations whose membership includes rural water districts, municipal water entities, commercial companies and individuals.  NWRA is concerned with the appropriate management, conservation, and use of water and land resources on a national scope.  NWRA works to balance the needs of the people and the environment.

The Oregon Water Resources Congress (OWRC) is a statewide association representing local government water suppliers.  This includes ports, cities, counties, drainage, irriation, water control and improvement districts, along with associations of water users.

The Upper Missouri Water Association is a non-profit regional water organization including the sates of Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming.  The purpose of the Association is to protect, develop and manage Upper Missouri water interests.

The Western Coalition of Arid States (WESTCAS) consists of 125 Western towns and municipalities, water and wastewater agencies, irrigation districts, Native American nations, and private members united by their concerns related to water and wastewater supply and quality.  WESTCAS members are in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Idaho and Texas.
