The Small Reclamation Program Act Coalition is an effort to modernize the existing Small Reclamation Loan Program, which was last amended in 1986, to recognize the social, economic and environmental changes necessary to undertake projects under this program with respect to the current water resources development needs in the seventeen western states.

A bill to authorize funding through the Secretary of the Interior for the implementation of a comprehensive program in California to achieve increased water yield and environmental benefits, as well as improved water system reliability, water quality, water use efficiency, watershed management, water transfers, and levee protection.
