Visiting D.C.

Tourist Information
Welcome to our city, Washington, DC!  For those of you who may be first time visitors to the nation's capital, the Washington Post has a great online visitor's guide, providing a wealth of information on where to stay, what to see, dining and nightlife, getting around, and a calendar of events and exhibitions by date.   Get started by checking out Ten Tips for Tourists.

Getting to Capitol Hill
Capitol Hill is also easily accessible by taxicab or Metro.  The House buildings are on the House (south) side of the Capitol, the Senate buildings on the Senate (north) side of the Capitol.  If traveling to the Senate side, take the Red Line to Union Station.  If traveling the the House side, take the Blue or Orange Line to Capitol Hill South. Click here for a map of Capitol Hill.

In addition to traveling by Metro, there are plenty of taxi cabs available.  The easiest way to get a cab is by flagging one down from the sidewalk curb.  Click here for some important information when taking cabs in the metropolitan area.

Hotels and Restaurants
In addition to the restaurants and hotels described in the Washington Post's Visitor's Guide (mentioned above), we have compiled a list of hotels and restaurants that are conveniently located near our office, and Capitol Hill.
